Dreams of Pregnancy and Birth

What does it mean when you dream you are pregnant or giving birth?

More often than not, pregnancy dreams have less to do with pregnancy and more to do with a new idea, or project, or plan. It’s about the growth of a blueprint….the beginnings of a new and exciting adventure.

On occasion a dream of giving birth is about expelling the necessary fear to allow free flow of thought and action. It’s about allowing yourself to begin to feel everything.

Dreaming of pregnancy and birth can also indicate the deep desire to nurture. This isn’t necessarily about wanting to be a parent. It’s more about the desire to see something grow and flourish under your tutelage.
